Lightcondensed is the Graphic Design "Framework" of Khiustin Tornés. The project, based in Madrid, was founded early in 2007, after a few years of work in differents freelance projects.
But the Lightcon antecedents go back to almost 10 years in Havana City -Cuba- in whose streets I discovered the magic and the enormous expressive posibilities of design, and its intimate dialog with other cultural disciplines, like other visual arts, teather, cinema and of course, music. All of this mixture of influences remains in me like a great force to confront each design or life project.
I studied Graphic Design in Havana, at the Superior Institute of Industrial Design (ISDI) early in 90'. After five years of intense preparation, in 1998 I graduated and started to work with several cultural institutions.
With this background, the intention of Lightcon is to contribute to diversify and improve the visual landscape, all of this with the conviction that the most important things happen beyond the borders of the design, in "real life".
